Arakkonam

A railway junction town in Ranipet district, around 70 km west of Chennai, and the area where most Landbazzar layouts have been developed.

Arakkonam sits at the end of the Chennai–Arakkonam suburban railway line and is a junction on the main line towards Katpadi and Bengaluru, so daily rail travel to Chennai is an established routine for many residents. The town is part of Ranipet district, which was formed out of Vellore district in 2019. Land around the town has generally been more affordable than inside Chennai, which is why plotted layouts here attract both families planning to build and long-term buyers. The value of any plot still depends on the specific layout, its approvals, access roads and title — not on the town's name alone. We encourage every buyer to check the approval documents and visit the site before deciding.
